Travel

Since I was a wee little girl, I always dreamed about travelling around the world. All I wanted to do was to absorb the culture, enjoy the environment and learn everything about the country. But that dream was crushed long time ago when I found out that travelling costs a lot and it would be a lot of burden on my family since I'm still a college student. I'm always Malaysia bound because I've never traveled overseas before, hence no passport.  I'm constantly juggling with assignments and exams with my college course, so it's actually quite impossible for me to get a part time job. Even when I'm on my semester break which is at most, 3 weeks, people wouldn't hire me cause of the short duration. All I could think of is asking people to fund me or selling my artwork which is not really a good idea, since I'm not at that level of selling art yet. And the other bad news is, GoFundMe is not available in Malaysia... So I'm left with nothing in the end.

Today, my college friends brought up the topic of travelling to Seoul, South Korea during our semester break next year. All I could do was just smile and nod my head. I couldn't do much since my parents have the burden of sending me and paying for college. I can't simply just ask for more. My friends even thought abut places to stay, activities to do etc. They basically planned a 5 day trip and doing as much as they can within the 5 days. It's literally seize the 5 days moment here. I've always been interested in visiting Korea. Not just for the idols, but for their rich culture. It would be nice seeing how they incorporated the metropolitan life while maintaining their heritage. I would also love to step out of Malaysia for the first time in my 19 years of living.

I think my dreams will be once again, crushed anyways. So gonna try my best to save up some money.
