Good morning, peeps! Finally gotten the time to blog about my Mexican food adventure that happened a month (?) ago. Just gonna keep this short and simple since it's not really a review but more of a rave over how good the food was!

Dropped by Grumpiez Green Pepper twice and the first thing I would recommend is their chimichanga. Two words; deep fried. Basically to me anything Mexican and deep fried can never go wrong.

They're very generous with their portions. This dish can be shared between 2 average persons OR 1 person who has a very great appetite (me.)

This glorious dish is also one of their signature dishes. The GRUMPIEZ' SUPER NACHOS. Just imagine nachos, but this time SUPER BIG and SUPER GOOD. Once again very generous with their portion when compared to the price they charge.

Ta-daah! Taco taco taco! Every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday at their place, seriously. On regular days you  would get 2 tacos for RM 23, but on Tuesdays, you can get 3 of them for the price of RM 18! To be honest, I am more than willing to pay RM 23 for just 2 of their tacos but, hell, if their giving me 3 for such price; COUNT ME THE FUCK IN!

Now, more than ever, we should stand together, hand in hand and defeat this system we call democracy with love. Love trumps hate!
Errors after errors, I tried to be tolerant. But I guess, it's just a game to you.

For someone who is already considered an adult, how irresponsible can you get?
It's finally that time of the year again! George Town Festival 2016 is returning for its 6th year from 29th July 2016 to 28th august 2016. And, I'm finally attending this one month long event cause it coincides with my sem break, so I thought why not take this chance to attend such events :) I'm gonna constantly update this blog with photographs of exhibitions I intend to attend and also my surroundings cause I bet there's gonna be so many people coming for this event! See you soon!
Good mornin', peeps! It's time for another Movie Recommendation, something I have not done for a while now. This time, I would like to recommend an animation movie which is The Peanuts Movie! This movie has combinations of all good ol' Peanuts moments, like Lucy's Psychiatric Booth, Snoopy's fight against the Red Baron, and so on. Hence, it is definitely a must watch movie to old Peanuts fans and to animation movie lovers (from here onward, all GIF you see belongs to me). Also, here's some OST from the movie if you want to listen to it while reading this post.

Throughout this movie, we can see our lovable Peanuts crew like Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Peppermint Patty, Franklin, and so on.

-
Lucy and Linus
Franklin, Schroeder, and Peppermint Patty
Violet, Patty, and Pig Pen
Charlie Brown
Snoopy and Woodstock

Without spoiling much, the movie plot goes like this: Charlie Brown has once again failed to fly his kite. A moving truck then drives opposite of his house, he has a new neighbor now, whom will also become his new classmate/crush.

He tries his best to woo the girl with his performance in the school talent show, his Winter dance off, and also his book report work. However, everything didn't go the way he wanted it to be! How will his fate with the Little Red Haired Girl turn out after all these ordeal?

This movie not only have great plot but also excellent original soundtracks! Check it out on Spotify! The art style is exactly like the classic ones except, more refined and 3D? So yeah, definitely worth watching. Blu-ray for this movie is already available since this movie was released last year.

Chōchin (提灯/ちょうちん)
Good afternoon, people! Finally gotten the chance to blog about my experience at Penang Anime Matsuri 2016! Let me be honest here, it's not really a Matsuri (祭り) since they do not really have any Japanese food stalls or game stalls. Albeit that, it was still enjoyable. The picture above is a Japanese traditional lantern which can usually be seen around Japanese festivals.

Artist booths (@khudeejuh)
I was walking around the artist booths corner on the 2nd floor and I cam across this booth. The art style looked so familiar and then I realized that the artist is a friend of one of my follow list on Instagram, go check her out! Amazing arts at a reasonable price! Bought badges from her booth, 3 or RM 10.

Liui, Philippine cosplayer (@oh_liui)
The event invited some well known cosplayers for meet and greets and also workshops. Coincidentally bumped into Liui while he was doing his meet and greet in one of the booths. It was overcrowded so I decided not to line up to meet him.

Bulldog T-Shirt (@Chapter One)
Was contemplating on getting one of these tee shirts cause they were too darn cute!! But decided not to since I can still purchase it from their online store and I didn't want to carry too much stuff that day. Their store is originally from Thailand but they have several selected distributors all over Asia, and Penang is one of them!

Anime merchandises.
There was one separate tent for anime merchandise booths as well.

Going Merry from One Piece.
There was also a display of One Piece merchandises and new console games which visitors can play with. Here's Going Merry, Luffy's first pirate ship before Thousand Sunny!

Night Concert

Night Concert #2
Got caught p with the outdoor concert with LiSa as guest. Although we didn't pay for it, we still got to view, heh.

That's that then. Although not as many photos as I like, at least I got to create more enjoayble memories with my friends :)

"Curiosity drives us to learn."

Countless hours of making the shoot perfect, all those sleepless nights and crashing in your own workplace, why? Because you want to make it work. You want to tell people, "Hey, I'm here!".

Finally back to blogging but I think it's just for this post since I'm still buried under my piles of assignment!! So this is just a little update of what I've been doing.

The photography trip finally happened! No, it's not exactly a trip where we go and take photos with our DSLR, more like a trip where we learn about what photography is about, and also how the professional working environment will be like. It was truly an awe inspiring experience and definitely would go for more of these trips if allowed. Thanks to one of our course lecturers, we were given the chance to visit not only one, but two professional photography studios in Damansara; which is quoted by one of the photography studio owners to be the hub of all professional photography studios in whole of Malaysia.

(WARNING: heavy posts/photo loads ahead!)

For this trip, I mostly captured all the moments on Snapchat since it was the most convenient one so all of the photos posted below would be from my Snapchat: jayceethenerd.

Had to wake up very early for this trip cause we were supposed to leave our college premise by 6 in the morning. Hitched a ride with some of my friends who actually passes by my apartment when heading to college, so yeah. Just to let you know, I actually didn't sleep the whole day cause I know I can't actually wake up on time, haha. But eventually gave up at 4 in the morning and slept for around an hour, then I really had to wake up to pack all my stuff, and catch my ride. Thanks again for the ride to college, guys!

View from Penang bridge, empty and quiet so early in the morning.

Passing by the petrol station at the break of dawn.

On the highway already, tried to listen to some Spotify to make myself sleepy, but I eventually stayed awake for the whole journey to KL.

Greetings to people on my Snapchat whom are usually awake at this hour.

The cement factory has always been a sight for me whenever I travel up north from Ipoh.

Remember the tunnel on the highway? Yup, this is it.

Just passed by the Ipoh toll, truly have been a few months since I last went back to Ipoh.

Massive limestone mining happening in Ipoh, which disgusts me so much. Please help preserve my hometown!

After stopping at the Simpang Pulai rest stop, the journey continues.

Touchdown in Selangor!
Suddenly remembered staying here when I was attending the first Animax Carnival with my friends!
Navigating our way through the studio in Damansara.

Rode at the most back seat throughout the trip cause we cool kids. Jokes.

Visited the two studios (no photos allowed earlier) and back to the firs studio location for lunch next door.
This amazeballs cafe is called AmazeK.
More like brunch! Haha, I barely got to have any breakfast!

The studio owner (lecturer's friend) insisted on treating us since we came such a long way from Penang, psst he's a Penang-lang!

Egg Benedict with hash browns and salad on the side.

Went back to first studio to learn more about photography!

Yup, only 2 in Malaysia and 1 of it is just right in front of me! RM 140,000 alone for this baby.

Yup, that's how big the sensor is!

Yes, you can get a luxurious house from all the equipment you see in this picture!

Was posing for phone camera, but the owner sneakily captured this with his expensive equipment and also also all the professional set-up.

One of his bike and also all his equipment in the background, talk about aesthetic!

Studio fully equipped with lounge area, functional kitchen where they have a full time food stylists!
The owner of the studio! So generous, kind, and funny!

IKEA visit is a must when you drop by at Damansara (psst, we got lost)

Got myself some candles and candle holders, to brighten up my work-space.

The bed was too comfy to be ignored. Lounged here for around 10 minutes before we were willing to leave.
Left around 4.30pm~

Obviously reluctant to leave cause I need to explore more!

Dropped by Starbucks at one of the petrol stations in Damansara (?) before we continue our journey.

Goodbye, Selangor. Till next time.

Arrived back at home at 10.30pm.
All in all, it was a memorable and inspiring trip.
A new post up later, telling how I feel about this trip and also what I've learned.
